We are the official website of the Canterbury Common Residents Association (“CCRA”).

The privacy policy described here covers only this website and the data that it contains. It is not a privacy policy for the CCRA as a whole.
Who can access the website
The website contains an area consisting of public pages and an area consisting of private pages.
Public pages are visible to anyone visiting our site and do not allow access to any personal information about members of CCRA.
Private pages are only visible to members of CCRA who have registered to be members of the website. Access to private pages is through a login procedure, each member having a username known only to them and the website administrator, and a password known only to them.
Member information
Personal information about members is entered as part of the website registration process and is stored in a secure area of the website. This information includes email address, physical address and phone number, and is used only to validate membership and contact members. Each member’s personal information is kept in a user profile that is visible only to the member themselves and the website administrator. All users can see or edit their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
In addition, CCRA may choose to make available to all members, through the website, a listing of all members of CCRA, including personal information such as address and phone number.

This website uses cookies to store an encrypted version of your username on your device if you do not logout of the site before leaving.

We do not share your data with anyone except authorized representatives of CCRA who may request information on members as a part of their duties for CCRA.
How long we retain your data
Your data remains on our website as long as you maintain your membership. Membership on the website is terminated either when you request it, or when you cease to be a member of CCRA. At that time, all the information associated with your membership on the website is destroyed.
Offsite backups of all website data, including membership data, are kept in a secure location for approximately one month. It is possible for such data to be in an offsite backup location for a month after it is removed from the website itself.
What rights you have over your data
If you have a membership account on this site, you can request to receive a file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you, excluding any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Erasure of personal information will also cause termination of your membership in the website.
